And while ‘good sportsmanship’ is prized, you can’t really blame 27-year-old German discus thrower Robert Harting for celebrating like this: ripping off his shirt, donning a German Flag cape, and jumping hurdles (not even his event).
But later that night, he was denied entry into the Olympic Village and ended up sleeping on the ground after he lost his credentials…so he slept on the ground.
