A 30-year police veteran and dad made one of the most difficult decisions that any parent would have to make – he turned his kid in to the police. Seven teens are being charged with beating another boy in an alley and then posting the video to YouTube.
The Chicago Sun-Times that after relatives and friends saw the video and recognized the son, Raymond Palomnio (he was the only one not hiding his face with a ski mask), they called the dad, Michael Palomino. When he saw the video (which has accumulated more than xxxxx hits), recognized his son, and immediately called the police – he knew if he hesitated, he’d talk himself out of it.
The only teen to be charged as an adult, his son was officially charged with felony aggravated battery and robbery charges, and his bail is set at $100,000.
