Kyle Maynard – A Congenital Amputee And Athlete – Accomplished His Mission To Climb Africa’s Tallest Mountain: Mount Kilimanjaro

Kyle Maynard, a congenital amputee and athlete, joined the show to tell his inspirational story and his plan to climb Mount Kilimanjaro! Maynard was born March 24, 1986 with a condition known as congenital amputation that has left him with arms that end at the elbows and legs that end near his knees.

Maynard is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Instructor and trained in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Now he’s focusing on Mission Kilimanjaro, where he’s going to attempt to climb the tallest mountain in Africa (in Tanzania).
