The Bud Light Hotel concert hooked up Super Bowl fans with performances by 50 Cent, Lil Jon and Pitbull. Lil Jon opened the show with a brief cameo from Nelly, who came on stage and hugged Jon. 50 Cent also brought up boxer Floyd Mayweather, who ran out with a backpack filled with bundles of $100 bills.
But the biggest cheers came during Pitbull’s mysterious goodbye after his set. While he was on stage, Pitbull switched from English to Spanish during his farewell. The audience got riled up when he said he doesn’t care if people like him or not. He also kept his trademark sunglasses on throughout the set.
Pitbull also sampled the opening of Guns & Roses’ “Sweet Child of Mine.” He also sample “I Gotta Feeling” from the Black Eyed Peas, and included a rendition of “Jump in the Line (Shake, Shake Senora),” which is best remembered from the movie Beetlejuice.
